RESTON, Va. – March 2, 2021 — Maola Local Dairies is proud to have received the Nog Off Award from Quality Chekd Dairies, Inc. The award recognizes the best eggnog for overall quality.
Maola’s Eggnog earned the high honors by striving for perfection in all areas of quality and taste. Out of thirty entrants for the 2020 Annual Nog Off Contest in December, Maola won in the best regular egg nog category. The scoring was based on consumer preference by the staff of the Merieux Lab, where composite scores were based on body, appearance, and flavor.
“Maola Eggnog has been a seasonal favorite for our customers for decades and we are glad the judges agreed,” said Todd Aarons, Executive Vice President of Operations at Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative. Maola Local Dairies is the processing subsidiary of Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers, which is owned by over 900 dairy farm families across the East coast.
