Patches Family Creamery

Mark and Stephanie Patches and Family Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Started in June 2009, Patches Farm Creamery offers homemade ice cream right on the family's farm. Enjoy your dairy treat in their store or on the porch, where you can watch the animals grazing and the planting and harvesting of the farm crops. Inside, there is a large viewing window where you can see the processing plant.

Windy Knoll Farm Market & Creamery

Aldus Eby and Family Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Windy Knoll Farm market and creamery sells homemade ice cream along with fresh produce, baked goods and more. The Creamery has won the Golden Scoop Award for best ice cream four years in a row!

Broom's Bloom Dairy

David and Kate Dallam and Family Bel Air, Maryland. In 1997, David and Kate started milking 65 cows on the farm and even more recently they started making and selling old fashioned ice cream, farmstead cheese and pork sausage. They are proud to be named fifth in the nation according to Tripadvisor's Top 10 Ice Cream Shops in the U.S. and Harford County's Best Ice Cream 10 years in a row.

Rocky Point Creamery

Chuck Fry and Family Tuscarora, Maryland. The Fry family has farmed their land since 1883. It all started out with about 10 Holstein cows. Today, the 4th generation milks 175 Holstein cows and farms 700 acres surrounding the dairy and creamery. The creamery was added in 2012 to help support the farm. They use the milk from their cows to make delicious ice cream on-farm at in the creamery. Made fresh each week, Rocky Point offer over 80 flavors throughout the year, using seasonally fresh, local ingredients and products. The Creamery was named one of the 15 Best Ice Cream Spots around D.C.

Misty Meadow Creamery

David and Becky Herbst Smithsburg, Maryland. Misty Meadow Farm Creamery is a family owned business, with a creamery on the farm that makes homemade ice cream. The creamery also has a gift shop, activities and a full menu. Stop in for an ice cream cone, or to see to the cows!

Keyes Creamery

David Keyes and Family Aberdeen, Maryland. Only the best milk produced by the Keyes' own grass-fed cows is used to make Keyes Creamery specialty cheeses and premium ice cream. The delicious results are available at the creamery where they hand dip their ice cream, which is made weekly on site. Quarts and pints of your favorite flavors are available to take home as well as delicious and beautifully decorated ice cream cakes and pies!

Moo Thru Creamery

Ken Smith and Family Remington, Virginia. Moo Thru was founded by 4th generation dairy farmer Ken Smith. The Smith Family has owned and operated a dairy farm in Fauquier County for decades. With the help of his family, Ken opened Moo Thru in June 2010 and it has been growing ever since. The family farm is located just two miles away from the ice cream store, where their champion Holstein cows are fed the healthiest diet. The ice cream is handcrafted and slow churned in Remington, Virginia. Each ingredient is hand-selected, fresh, and local whenever possible.

Kilby Cream

Kilby Cream ice cream shop is a great place to grab a cool treat and relax. Located on one of the family's farms just outside of Rising Sun, you can enjoy ice cream, shakes, sundaes, smoothies, blended ice coffee drinks and more. There's even a playground and farm-petting zoo to keep the kids entertained. The farm also offers home delivery routes.

NCSU Creameries: Howling Cow

NCSU Dairy Enterprise Systems Raleigh, North Carolina. For over half a century, generations of North Carolinians have savored the premium ice cream on NC State’s campus or at the North Carolina State Fair. Now the Howling Cow brand is available packaged, so you can enjoy it at home, tailgating or at the beach. Howling Cow is made right on campus at the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Science’s Feldmeier Dairy Processing Lab in Schaub Hall. The traditional recipes start with fresh milk and cream from their Raleigh farm, with top-quality ingredients added to create our many delicious flavors.

Homeland Creamery

Bowman Dairy, Inc. Julian, North Carolina. The creamery offers a variety of products all made at the on-farm creamery including a variety of milks, old fashioned churned butter and delicious, premium ice cream. Their premium ice cream contains a 14% butterfat content, which results in an extra creamy taste. There are 23 flavors. Stop by the farm retail store for additional, exclusive flavors.
