Maola Local Dairies, owned by the farmers of Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association, is thrilled to announce the hiring of Lee Perry in our newly created role of Executive Vice President, Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory (FSQR).
In this role, Lee will be responsible for fostering a thriving food safety culture within our cooperative and ensuring FSQR considerations are integrated into all strategic business decisions. Lee will lead all FSQR employees throughout our cooperative’s six processing plants by providing them with guidance, training, and development opportunities.
“We are delighted to welcome Lee Perry in our first-ever position of Executive Vice President, Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory,” said Jay Bryant, Chief Executive Officer. “Lee will bring his experience to elevate our food safety culture for our more than 1,000 employees.”
Lee joins Maola after more than 10 years with ADM where he most recently served as Global Vice President Quality and Food Safety for the Fortune 50 company.
“I am excited to join Maola at a time when growth and product innovation is a business priority,” said Lee Perry on his new role. “I look forward to leading the team that delivers fresh, nutritious, and safe dairy products to consumers in our local communities.”
Specifically, Lee oversaw quality and food safety across over 200 countries and markets within ADM, managing 1,838 global colleagues.
